His criminal practice focuses on high stakes federal and state felony cases, ranging from drug trafficking charges to white collar fraud. Reid’s civil practice includes defending property owners in civil asset forfeiture proceedings and representing businesses and individuals in Georgia’s hemp industry, who are often unlawfully targeted by law enforcement based on a misinterpretation of federal and state cannabis laws. Reid is also the firm’s lead attorney in assisting low-risk, eligible individuals petition the court for removal from Georgia’s sex offender registry.
Reid graduated cum laude from the Georgia State University College of Law, where he served as Digital Editor on the Georgia State Law Review and President of Entertainment for the Sports and Entertainment Law Society. In his Trial Advocacy course, his writing was recognized as among the best in his class. Reid externed for a Circuit Judge at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, the federal court of appeals governing Florida, Alabama, and Georgia.
Reid also participated in the Community Development & Entrepreneurship Legal Clinic, providing legal services to small businesses and social enterprises in the Atlanta area.
